How CAGR Works
CAGR = [(Final Value ÷ Initial Investment)1 ÷ Years − 1] × 100
Example: BDT 100,000 growing to BDT 150,000 in 5 years gives a CAGR of approximately 8.45%.
CAGR assumes no additional deposits or withdrawals during the period. It describes a constant annual growth rate between the starting and ending values; actual yearly returns may vary. Use consistent values when accounting for fees, dividends and taxes.
